British Airways (BA) released plans this month to implement new changes to its long haul operations starting with the launch of the airlines latest international route to Haneda airport.
The carrier expects operations into Japan to commence early next year with five weekly flights departing from Heathrow to Haneda.
Despite the latest addition, BA has assured customers flights from Heathrow into Narita International Airport in Tokyo will continue to run on a weekly basis.
Travellers to Buenos Aires will also benefit from BA’s latest modifications following the airlines announcement of a cheap new direct service into Buenos Aires.
BA also announced plans to increase flight from Gatewick to the West Indies offering 12 weekly flights to Barbados and a possible increase of up to six flights to Antigua.
Trips from St Lucia to Port of Spain will also see an increase to seven weekly flights while flights to Orlando will be cut by two down to seven a week.
BA will also increase services on its newest route Cancun, to be launched in November this year from two to three over the 2011 summer period.
